Individual Coaching with Caitlyn

Once you’ve gone through the training course from Prepare Ministries, you can apply for individual coaching with me!

A focused season of partnership development is an intense few months if you do it right, but it’s the best thing you can do to set yourself up for sustainability on the mission field. My job as a coach is to provide accountability and encouragement along the way, as well as suggest strategies to connect with people. God opens doors, but you have to recognize them and walk through. I want to help you not to miss any open door that may be an opportunity for partnership.

I’ve been fully funded as a missionary since 2017, and I have taught and coached others to be fully funded as well. Here’s what coaching with me looks like:

  • Weekly 30-minute online video meetings

  • Access to me through email and text

  • Accountability and encouragement

  • Editing feedback on your letter and materials

  • Role-play and feedback on your conversation prep

  • Brainstorm strategies and solutions for your unique situation

Why do I have to go through the course first to receive coaching?

In short, I don’t want to waste your time or mine!

Coaching isn’t training. My job is to be an encourager, accountability partner, and co-strategist with you on your journey. I want to protect our coaching meetings from becoming training sessions where I’m sharing content that you could have gotten in a video. I’d much rather you watch the videos ahead of time, think through the ideas, and then come to our coaching meetings ready to discuss the best way to implement them!

Plus, let’s do the math. The course is roughly 8 hours long. If I presented that same amount of material in coaching meetings 30 minutes a week, it would take me 4 months to get through it. For a fraction of that cost, you can go through the material at your own pace and make sure you’re getting the most out of it— then launch into our live coaching meetings with a solid foundation!

Why this particular course?

There are a number of partnership development models out there. DIfferent organizations train in different ways. Since this is the model I personally have been using for years, this is the approach my coaching takes. I will be best able to help you if we’re already on the same page!

What if I recieved training in this model, but not from this course?

I took this course in person before it ever existed on video, and the ministry I serve with has taught a version of the same model to our interns. In recently watching the current version of the course for myself, I realized how rich it is and how many details had gotten lost in my memory (if they were even included in my class). I still believe that this course sets you up for success in the best way possible— but if you believe your training experience was equivalent, you may still apply for coaching and we can talk!

What if I have gone through it, but it’s been a long time?

Fill out the application and let’s chat! Since you have lifetime access, it might be beneficial to you to review some of the lessons before we start our coaching.
